List to Categorize Your Coupons

1. Free – for all those FREE coupons that you want to use before they expire!
2. Produce – Fruits, veggies and things found in the produce section (croutons, refrigerated salad dressings, tofu, etc.)
3. Breads / Baked Goods 
4. Condiments & Sauces – Pickles, mustard, peanut butter etc.
5. Beverages – Anything you can drink!
6. Packaged and Canned Goods – Most of the stuff that is in the center aisles of a grocery store. Soups, dry pastas, tuna, canned veggies, crackers, rice, bread products, etc.
7. Baking – Anything found in the baking aisle, including spices, parchment paper, brownie/cake mixes, etc.
8. Cereal & Breakfast – Cereals, oatmeal, pancake mix, syrup,
9. Snacks & Candy – Snack foods such as pretzels, popcorn, chips, gum, candy, etc.
10. Dairy – All things found in the dairy section – cheese, milk, sour cream, yogurt, and things like eggs, refrigerated cookie dough, etc.
11. Meats – All meat products
12. Frozen – All products in the frozen food aisle, including frozen entrees, desserts, etc.

PLEASE READ :

 Penny items should not even be sold, but dg decided to let ppl buy them because there were lots of complaints . It doesn't go to a penny so we can buy it for a penny ..it goes to a penny so it wont be sold that was the original intent..it was made so employees could scan and know to remove it. the reason the price point goes to 1 penny is because the computers will not make it less.. also DG originally did not sell the items at all they would just say oh we cant sell this it is discontinued , I had that happen before and then they would trash them or donate them . Then so many customers complained that they decided to let the customer buy it at one penny . There is a new memo going around that they may not allow  penny items sold again. not considering the customers complaints any longer . so time will tell. even tho the item will ring a penny they still have the right to say no . and there is no sense in arguing over a penny
