Everything pennies the same at DG but its give or take a week or two by region. 

please never ask employees or call store and ask for penny items , these items should not be in the store ..they will sell them to you if you find them tho..usually just ring up with the rest of your items and no one notices but you.

If you think you have a penny item then make sure you place ALL those items in your cart. Once the employee price checks/scans the items and see's they are $0.01, their policy says they are suppose to ask you where you found it and go pull the rest off the shelf. 

The rule of thumb is 50% 70% 90% once an item reaches 90% the item (s) should penny out within 2 weeks
